Deaconess Health System has partnered with Streamline Health Solutions to implement its eValuator cloud-based solution, aimed at enhancing pre-bill coding accuracy and financial outcomes.
The Indiana-based health system with 1,200 beds serves more than 1.5 million residents.
Deaconess Health System healthcare resource solutions vice-president and chief revenue cycle officer Rebecca Conen said: “We were seeking automation to assist with improving coding and billing workflows as well as accuracy within the mid-revenue cycle. eValuator’s unique capabilities stood apart and best fit our organisational priorities.”
eValuator conducts a comprehensive analysis of all encounters before the billing process commences, allowing for the scrutiny of any flagged encounters before generating an invoice.
Supported by automated processes, reporting, and industry knowledge, the solution helps pinpoint and resolve any coding and billing discrepancies before the submission of a claim.
This ensures revenue integrity and financial efficacy for inpatient, outpatient, and professional fee encounters.
