With this expansion, the hospital chain operates over 135 hospitals across India and Africa, covering 10 countries and 12 Indian states.

The existing team and management will remain in place, and the hospital will invest in equipment, infrastructure and staff training.

The objective is to deliver high-quality healthcare at affordable prices and address the growing demand for services related to eye care in the region.

Additionally, the group aims to open eye clinics named “Dr Agarwals Eye Clinic” in non-metro and rural markets, ensuring access to quality and affordable eye care for more patients.

The expansion not only extends the hospital chain’s reach but also adds experienced doctors to its network, offering comprehensive eye care solutions in Davanagere, including expert physicians and advanced technology.

During this month, Dr Agarwals announced plans to invest Rs2bn ($24.22m) in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu for its expansion over the next two years, reported The Economic Times.
