Outpatient mental health provider Family Care Center has expanded access to mental health services with the opening of a new clinic in Tucson, Arizona, US.
This marks the company’s third clinic launch in the state since the previous fall, with a fourth slated to launch in June.
Family Care Center CEO Wayne Cavanaugh said: “Access to mental health care in Tucson has been a significant challenge for many residents.
“Far too many people still suffer in silence or face obstacles to getting help, and we’re here to change that. Family Care Center is deeply committed to breaking the stigma around mental health and making comprehensive care accessible and truly patient-centred for Tucson.”
The Family Care Center’s Tucson clinic is situated three miles west of the University of Arizona and offers a range of mental health services.
Patients can access individual and group therapy, psychiatric and medication management services, and specialised treatments such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), a non-invasive FDA-approved therapy for individuals aged 15 years and above suffering from depression and anxiety.

“Our goal is to create a safe, supportive space where individuals can access the tools and care they need to achieve lasting wellness.”
The Tucson clinic has begun accepting new patients, with most appointments available within one week.
