Indian private hospital chain Fortis Healthcare has launched ‘Adayu Mindfulness’, a new platform dedicated to providing holistic mental healthcare support.
This initiative is the result of an exclusive partnership with deep-tech company United We Care, integrating AI into the Adayu app to improve mental well-being.
The partnership combines United We Care’s AI mental health technology, which also features an advanced virtual psychological first aid named Stella, with Adayu’s network of mental health professionals.
According to ETHealthworld.com, the Adayu app will feature advanced virtual psychological first aid through Stella, United We Care’s AI virtual wellness coach, offering round-the-clock support.
Users of the Adayu app will benefit from personalised mental health assessments and a variety of resources, including videos, audio, and exercises.
The app will also connect individuals to Fortis’ team of clinical and counselling psychologists, psychiatrists, psycho-oncologists, and other mental health experts, effectively reducing wait times and overcoming geographical barriers.

By GlobalDataAccording to the information available on United We Care’s website, its partnership with Asayu also focuses on bridging gaps in mental health awareness and access through community outreach initiatives.
The integration of Stella’s AI capabilities with Adayu’s clinical team is a strategic move to provide immediate mental health first aid, followed by expert care, marking a crucial step in improving service accessibility and reducing wait times.
ETHealthworld.com quoted Fortis Healthcare managing director and CEO Dr Ashutosh Raghuvanshi as saying: “This new initiative not only emphasises our commitment to addressing the pervasive challenge of mental health but also showcases our innovative approach by integrating AI technology through our partnership with United We Care.
“This collaboration is set to transform the accessibility of mental health services, making comprehensive care available at the touch of a button.
“This is more than an advancement in healthcare technology; it is a movement towards destigmatising mental health issues and enhancing the availability of care for those in need across India.”
