France-based urology clinic Clinique Urologique Nantes-Atlantis has installed the Versius surgical robot from CMR Surgical into its robotic surgery programme.
The clinic has already performed surgeries with Versius, covering procedures such as prostatectomies, nephrectomies, and cystectomies.
Versius allows surgical teams to collect data, procedural videos, and clinical insights within the CMR clinical registry.
This data helps surgeons and healthcare institutions with in-depth knowledge about their surgical practices, facilitating continuous learning and improving healthcare system efficiency.
With over 140 systems in use worldwide, Versius is said to feature adaptable design, offering optimised port placement, precision with fully wristed instruments, 3D HD vision, and ergonomic working positions.
Clinique Urologique Nantes-Atlantis general manager Camilla Belbeoc’h said: “Flexible and versatile, the Versius surgical robot has the advantage of combining performance with ease of learning. Versius is the only small, modular and portable surgical robot on the market, making it easy for surgical teams to utilise.
