US-based primary care practice Medical Specialists Associated is set to join Genuine Health Group through a partnership to enhance healthcare access and quality for North Texas Medicare beneficiaries.

Through this collaboration, Genuine Health Group has expanded its care organisation realising equity, access, and community health (ACO REACH) programme to the Dallas-Fort Worth market, supporting physicians in transitioning to value-based care.

Genuine Health Group partners across Texas, including El Paso, Hood, Johnson and Harris counties, but for Medical Specialists Associated it’s the first primary care partner in Dallas-Fort Worth.

By joining Genuine Health Direct, Medical Specialists Associated will be part of the ACO REACH model.

This initiative seeks to improve patient care, enhance accessibility and minimise healthcare costs.

Additionally, the partnership will grant Medical Specialists Associated access to advanced care coordination programmes and initiatives aimed at increasing wellness and preventive care services for seniors.

Medical Specialists Associated practice executive Chad Erickson said: “For more than 50 years, we have delivered a continuum of primary care services to patients in Dallas with one goal in mind – to keep our community healthy.

“By joining forces with Genuine Health Group, we will have even more tools to expand patient-centred solutions for our senior population.”

Genuine Health Group currently manages care for over 60,000 patients eligible for Medicare and collaborates with more than 400 physicians network.
