Gillette Children’s has partnered with Notable, an intelligent automation company for healthcare, to transform access to specialty care.
By leveraging Notable solutions, Gillette aims to automate scheduling, registration, appointment reminders, and clinical intake forms in an effort to streamline and personalise the registration experience for its 26,000 paediatric patients and their families.
The solutions enable Gillette to reduce administrative tasks and improve overall experience for patients.
Notable’s intelligent automation platform leverages patient AI and existing electronic health record (EHR) information to simplify the doctor visit experience, create personalised experiences unique to each child, and increase scheduling volume.
Across 11 multispecialty clinics, Gillette Children’s has deployed Notable’s Registration and Intake Assistant as well as Scheduling Assistant.
The implementation of Notable’s solutions has resulted in time savings for staff and high patient satisfaction rates.
Gillette plans to expand the use of Notable’s platform for patient self-scheduling, payer-plan selection, and real-time eligibility, while continuing to co-develop automations and engagement strategies to improve outcomes for children, families, providers, and staff.
Gillette Children’s president and CEO Barbara Joers said: “As a specialty hospital focused on children with complex conditions, our families have many scheduling and registration needs.
“It is critical that we remove points of friction from the process and help them navigate care without frustration or long wait times.
“We are thrilled to partner with Notable to give our families access to care at their own pace, while freeing up our staff to focus on caregiving with compassion.”
Gillette offers treatment to children with complex conditions, rare disorders and traumatic injuries.
In 1897, it became the country’s first hospital for children who have disabilities.
