Finland-based private full-service dental company Hammas Hohde has acquired Pihlajalinna’s dental health services for an undisclosed amount.
The deal sees 16 clinics and around 200 dental health professionals becoming part of Hohde from the beginning of April 2023.
This divestment is part of the process of simplifying Pihlajalinna’s business portfolio.
Dental health services will continue to be provided by Pihlajalinna.
Pihlajalinna interim CEO Mikko Wirén said: “We are streamlining our business portfolio in private healthcare services and focusing on selected services, such as comprehensive surgical operations services. Dental health services will continue to be offered to customers in close partnership with Hohde.
“Also, the clinics to be transferred to Hohde will remain on our premises as before. In addition, Hohde’s expertise and investments in dental health services will further improve the nationwide offering for our occupational healthcare customers, for example.”
