Besides, the partners plan to facilitate staff exchanges in London to support the expertise-sharing effort.

Through this initiative, they aim to enhance medical practices and improve patient care standards, with benefits extending both locally and globally.

London is said to attract over 100,000 overseas patients annually, with a significant number coming from the Middle East.

The objective of introducing Healthcare London, which includes private healthcare providers and NHS teaching hospitals with private patient units, was to provide international patients with access to London’s healthcare models.

Healthcare London serves as a coordinator and promoter, guiding international patients to London’s centres of excellence for multidisciplinary and coordinated care services.

Independent Healthcare Providers Network, which hosts Healthcare London, CEO David Hare MBE said: “At Healthcare London, we want to make it as easy as possible for patients to get treatment in London. Our single portal enables patients and referrers to explore treatment options and find the most suitable hospital for their needs.

“London brings together a distinguished community of healthcare professionals, led by the world’s top medical talent, who are committed to delivering unparalleled medical treatments and services to patients from Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region.”
