Infusion and injection therapy centre provider IVX Health has announced the opening of two new outpatient infusion centres in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area in Florida, US.

With these two centres, IVX Health has a total of 23 centres in the state.

The new locations in Pembroke Pines and East Fort Lauderdale aim to provide patients with convenient access to quality biologic therapy in a comfortable setting.

IVX Health centres offer private suites, flexible appointment scheduling, and amenities such as streaming TVs and comfortable recliners.

With a low nurse-to-patient ratio and adherence to rigorous safety protocols, IVX Health claims to ensure a hospital-like standard of care.

The company collaborates with specialist physicians and provider practices to navigate the prior authorisation process.

With 75 centres across the US, IVX Health stated that its patient-centred approach and a broad range of therapies have led to its rapid growth.

IVX Health CEO Doug Ghertner said: “IVX Health is proud to continue expanding access across the state of Florida to provide patients with the highest level of clinical quality and service.

“These new centres will offer patients with autoimmune disorders such as Crohn’s disease, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and other conditions a truly unique and patient-first care experience.”

IVX Florida regional vice-president Sean Hutchison said: “We understand the challenges that prior authorisation, benefits eligibility, and other paperwork present to physicians and their staff, and we are here to help.

“Our team works closely with providers to help facilitate these processes so that patients may receive the care they need as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
