IVX Health also plans to open infusion centres in San Antonio later this year.

The company said that four infusion centres previously operated under the SI Therapeutics brand before IVX Health took it over this month.

IVX Health’s infusion centres in Cedar Park and Arbor Walk are already open, while those in Pflugerville and South Austin are due to open later this year.

Designed to offer a comfortable experience, the infusion centres feature private suites, flexible scheduling and other amenities such as recliners, televisions and complimentary snacks.

The company said the centres maintain a low nurse-to-patient ratio and adhere to hospital-level safety standards and protocols.

IVX Health Texas regional vice-president Cullen Pabody said: “We recognise the meaningful impact IVX makes in the lives of speciality biologic patients receiving ongoing infusion/injection therapy.

“Our uniquely designed centres guarantee an experience of the highest calibre – ensuring patients always receive care in a safe, comfortable, and convenient way.

“We are confident IVX is the infusion provider of choice for referring specialists and their patients.”

IVX Health currently operates more than 100 infusion centres across the US and has almost 70 therapies on its active formulary.
