US-based mental health care provider Lyra Health has established a vendor relationship with Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) to offer mental health services to CHA member hospitals.
CHA focuses on advancing paediatric health through innovation in cost, quality and care delivery.
The partnership gives CHA member hospital employees and their dependents preferred access to Lyra Health’s evidence-based mental health offerings.
It is intended to enhance the wellbeing of hospital staff and their families, acknowledging the critical role of mental health support in the healthcare sector.
Stanford Medicine Children’s Health Benefits programme manager Andrea Billings said: “Lyra’s clinician-led workshops, specifically designed for those exposed to trauma and distressing events, have been instrumental in helping our team members understand the impact of the trauma and give them evidence-based coping strategies to improve their overall wellbeing.
“Our organisation thinks a lot about ways to combat burnout, compassion fatigue, trauma, and other psychosocial stressors facing our workforce.
