MatrixCare, a post-acute care technology provider, has partnered with Health Gorilla, a secure health data-sharing network and platform, to improve patient data access.  

This collaboration involves access, exchange and integration of clinical data into MatrixCare’s electronic health record (EHR) platform, thereby improving care coordination and streamlining administrative processes.

According to Health Gorilla, leveraging its federally designated Qualified Health Information Network (QHIN), MatrixCare becomes the first post-acute EHR to engage in the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) transactions. 

This connectivity provides access to a vast network that includes more than 220 million patients, over 147 thousand care sites and 750,000 clinicians located across the US.
