India-based eye care hospital chain Maxivision has opened a ‘super-speciality’ eye care hospital in Trichy, Tamil Nadu.
The facility has been described as ‘ultra-modern’ and is part of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with the state government in September under Project Velicham.
Its opening follows the establishment of Maxivision centres in Perambalur and Thanjavur of Tamil Nadu.
The Trichy hospital covers 11,000ft² and is equipped with up-to-date vision diagnostic equipment.
It includes four advanced infection control operation theatres with modular HEPA filters, more than ten consultation rooms, diagnostic stations and a ‘spacious’ optical store.
The hospital features a team of super-speciality doctors with more than 25 years of experience in ophthalmology, who provide a comprehensive range of eye care services.
