Multi-specialty tertiary care provider Global Health (Medanta) and Elinquisite Real Estate are set to sign a binding term sheet for a new hospital with 300-bed capacity in Indore city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

Located near the existing Medanta Indore Hospital, the multi super-specialty, tertiary care facility will provide multi-disciplinary care in more than 20 super specialties.

These specialties include neurosciences, cardiac, cancer, orthopaedics, digestive and hepatobiliary sciences.

The hospital will also enable scaling-up of the clinical services of Medanta in Indore.

Medanta chairman and managing director Dr Naresh Trehan said: “The new hospital in Indore will help us cater to the under-met healthcare needs of the city, and allow us to serve the population with high-end clinical programmes and technology across a range of super specialties.”
