Medcare Hospitals & Medical Centres, a venture of Aster DM Healthcare, has expanded its healthcare network in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with the opening of its new flagship hospital in Dubai.
The 126-bed Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital is situated in Al Qusais.
It was inaugurated by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Rashid Bin Hamdan Al Maktoum on 30 May, witnessed by government officials, health authorities, and dignitaries, Zawya said in a media release.
The tertiary care hospital has been established to meet the healthcare demands of local and international patients, in line with UAE’s Vision 2031.
Spanning 335,000ft², the new hospital is claimed to be the fourth of its kind in Dubai and the fifth in the UAE, strengthening Medcare’s network, which includes 18 medical centres.
Located strategically near Dubai International Airport, Medcare Royal Hospital currently has 83 doctors coming from diverse international backgrounds, including the Emirati medical specialists, as well as from the South-Asian, Western, and Arab regions.
