Median Technologies has entered a commercial partnership with Canon Medical Systems subsidiary Olea Medical to support the commercialisation of its AI-based lung cancer screening software, eyonis LCS, in the US and Europe.
The eyonis LCS Software as a Medical Device uses AI to help clinicians detect and diagnose lung cancer during screening workflows, with the aim of identifying cancers earlier.

The partnership follows recent regulatory milestones for the product.
eyonis LCS received the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance in February 2026 and CE marking in Europe in July 2026.
Canon Medical Systems is a provider of computed tomography (CT) imaging systems, which are used with eyonis LCS for lung cancer screening. Olea Medical, its subsidiary, will use its network to facilitate the commercial roll-out of the screening tool.
Median Technologies noted that the agreement with Olea Medical is part of its strategy to grow through a mix of direct sales and non-exclusive commercial partnerships in its main target markets.

Median Technologies has stated its intent to create further partnerships with healthcare technology companies, imaging software and modality entities, picture archiving and communication system (PACS) providers, clinical data platforms and other industry participants to accelerate market uptake of eyonis LCS for lung cancer screening.
