Healthcare company Medline has announced a multi-year prime vendor collaboration with Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in the US for medical supplies and solutions.

Under the strategic partnership worth $200m, Medline will serve as Hoag Memorial Hospital’s exclusive distributor for medical products across care continuum.    

The partnership seeks to cater to the needs of Orange County community by providing a wide range of medical supplies and solutions to Hoag health system’s acute and non-acute care network.

Hoag supply chain operations executive director Binh Pham said: “Hoag is focused on delivering the best service possible to the entire Orange County community, and that means bringing in the best partners, technology and people.

“Medline’s dedication to its trade, combined with its infrastructure investments and ability to scale, gives us great confidence in them as a partner for today, as well as one that can help position Hoag for continued excellence in the years to come.”

The partners will jointly work on strategies to ensure smooth supply chain operations, patient outcomes and clinical efficiencies.

In this regard, Medline will work with the health system from its 1.1m square-foot distribution facility in Rialto, California.

The two entities have also decided to collaborate on various clinical programmes including Medline’s ReNewal device reprocessing and PeriOp Performance Program.
