Medical Oncology Associates of San Diego (MOASD), an independent oncology practice, has expanded its network with the opening of a new cancer care centre in La Jolla, US.

The centre, in collaboration with oncologist and haematologist Dr Sabina Wallach, aims to improve the delivery of quality cancer care services across San Diego County.

The La Jolla centre is staffed by a team of healthcare professionals, including Dr Heather Tracy, Dr Marie Shieh, Dr James Coggan, and Michelle Davis.

They will offer a range of cancer care services, from early-stage detection and diagnosis to treatment and support, encompassing clinical trial access.

MOASD president Charles Redfern said: “We are excited to partner with Dr Wallach to launch our La Jolla cancer care centre, bringing the best possible treatment options to our patients in a convenient, accessible location close to home and work.

“Dr Wallach has consistently demonstrated exceptional care, and we look forward to expanding our team with additional highly skilled oncologists and haematologists to further enhance the quality of care in the La Jolla area.”
