US-based independent specialised laboratory company Aurora Diagnostics has acquired West Georgia Pathology, a hospital-based practice in Georgia.
Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

West Georgia provides pathology services to three local hospitals in the Tanner Health Systemm and also provides medical director services to area clinics in Georgia.

Aurora Diagnostics provides diagnostics and testing information services for the patients of its primary referral sources, including dermatologists, OB/GYN professionals, gastroenterologists, urologists, general surgeons, oncologists, and for more than 57 community hospitals.
