US-based Baptist Health has selected Explorys’ big data analytics platform to implement value-based care initiatives and develop clinically integrated network.
Baptist Health is a network of five hospitals associated with 45 primary care offices in north-east Florida and south-east Georgia.

By combining clinical, claims and operational data, Baptist will use Explorys’ platform to stratify risk, predict costs, pinpoint patients that need intervention, enable care coordination and close gaps in care by combining clinical, claims and operational data.
Baptist Health senior vice president and chief information officer Roland Garcia said: "By leveraging the Explorys platform and applications, Baptist Health will gain deeper insights into our patient population that will support our ability to transform the process of care.
"In a fragmented and immature market, we evaluated multiple vendors and ultimately selected Explorys as our first generation health management tool. They demonstrated flexibility, a cloud-based approach and the ability to benchmark against other clients’ data."
In addition, Baptist Health, along with its affiliates, will apply Explorys’ VBC Program Framework to roll out value-based care initiatives.
