Lakeland Regional Health Systems (LRHS), a full-service medical centre and health system in Florida, has announced that it is expanding its use of Allscripts’ electronic health record (EHR) solutions.
LRHS is expanding its use of Allscripts TouchWorks ambulatory EHR and Allscripts Practice Management clinical and operational solutions to help manage operations and coordinate patient care within the hospital system’s growing network of clinics and clinicians.
The health system will also use Allscripts managed services and implement Allscripts Payerpath financial management software.
Allscripts TouchWorks EHR, an advanced, modular clinical solution, helps caregivers embed desired practices and protocols into their workflows.
A comprehensive solution with automated clinical decision support at the points of care, TouchWorks offers a configurable clinical desktop and nearly 800 multi-speciality peer reviewed Care Guides to drive effective and efficient patient care in the ambulatory setting.
Allscripts Practice Management, a comprehensive practice management solution, is designed to help practices improve administrative workflow and maximise reimbursement.
Allscripts TouchWorks business unit general manager and senior vice president Greg White said the company is very pleased that LRHS continues to choose Allscripts solutions for its medical group.
"Allscripts TouchWorks and Allscripts Practice Management are powerful solutions that reflect our commitment to helping our clients achieve and surpass their business, regulatory and patient care goals," White added.
The enhanced features of Allscripts Practice Management, from registration through to collections and management reporting, deliver workflows to achieve a healthier bottom line and drive better outcomes for patients, according to Allscripts.
Allscripts Payerpath, which natively integrates with Allscripts Practice Management, provides highly automated claims management and other revenue cycle optimisation capabilities that can help accelerate bill to collection cycle for healthcare providers.
With Lakeland Regional Medical Center, a 851-bed not-for-profit medical facility, LRHS is the fifth largest hospital in the state of Florida.
