Telehealth solutions provider InTouch Health has collaborated with UK-based provider of IT, Kainos Group (KNOS) to create a suite of telehealth offerings to enhance the care delivery in healthcare systems across the globe.
Telehealth service, which refers to collection of health related information by means of telecommunications technologies, is offered by the InTouch Telehealth Network spanning across more than 1,500 hospital locations globally and over 4,500 physician specialists providing access to urgent healthcare.
The InTouch platform provides stroke consultation at every five minutes, attending nearly 100,000 stroke patients every year.
The InTouch Telehealth Network offers its telehealth service on a range of clinical specialties including telemental health, ICU, post-acute care, telepediatrics and more than 30 other clinical issues.
Kainos Evolve’s integrated care platform is expected to enhance InTouch’s next generation telehealth patient management solutions to offer low cost service to the patients.
KNOS’s association as an Apple mobility partner will offer Intouch’s customer a mobile access to clinical information at the point of care.

The Evolve platform will be leveraged to support health applications in large integrated delivery networks allowing InTouch Health to offer applications tailored to the patient’s needs which can be integrated with hospital electronic health record systems.
The platform features eForms and workflow tools, which allow the customisation of the applications in accordance to the requirements of individual healthcare units.
