Laser Spine Institute intends to start construction of the facility later this year and it is slated to be completed in the first quarter of 2016.

The institute has appointed Highwoods Properties to monitor the construction of the facility, while interior construction, design and engineering will be carried by Precise Construction, Array Architects, Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio, King Engineering Associates, Walter P Moore and Thomasson Associates.

"This facility signifies our commitment to the Tampa area, our patients, community partners and growing workforce."

Laser Spine Institute CEO Bill Horne said: "Tampa has been home to Laser Spine Institute for nearly a decade and as we have grown from nine employees to more than 800 nationwide, we are proud to have done so in a community that shares our vision for innovation and improving today’s health care delivery system.
