US-based hospital management firm Prime Healthcare Services has completed the acquisition of North Vista Hospital from IASIS Healthcare.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Located in North Las Vegas, Nevada, US, the 177-bed hospital provides healthcare services, including emergency care, heart care, advanced surgical procedures and diagnostic imaging.
Prime Healthcare Services president Prem Reddy said: "Prime Healthcare looks forward to partnering with the physicians, nurses and employees at North Vista Hospital, as well as becoming involved in the community.
"We are committed to providing the best quality care to the communities we serve and believe that North Vista will continue that tradition."
The hospital includes a 20-bed emergency department, a heart care programme with advanced technology, including cardiac catheterisation, and Bariatric Centre of Excellence, as well as geriatric and adult behavioural services.
Vince Variale was selected as North Vista Hospital’s CEO, with 30 years of healthcare management experience.
Mr Variale said: "Under Prime Healthcare’s leadership, we will ensure North Vista continues its role as a critical safety-net hospital in the greater North Las Vegas area."
IASIS Healthcare owns and operates 16 acute care hospitals and 137 physician clinics, while Prime Healthcare operates 29 acute care hospitals in nine states of the US.
