
Thumbay Group UAE has opened a new healthcare facility in Al Qusais, Dubai, in a bid to offer affordable services in the region.
Providing ultra-modern facilities, Thumbay Hospital is a private teaching facility that is affiliated to Gulf Medical University.
Developed to offer patient-centred care, the facility is part of the Thumbay Group and GMC Hospitals.
Thumbay Group UAE retail and healthcare director Akbar Moideen Thumbay said: "Our goal is to build a lasting relationship with people.

By GlobalDataThe new facility includes 150 beds, of which 75 beds are operational, and provides services such as orthopaedics, radiology, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as internal medicine.
It also comprises a 25 chair dental hospital that offers services in general dentistry, including orthodontics, prosthodontics, endodontic and oral surgery.
The partnership also plans to develop a network of teaching hospitals under the Thumbay brand, in Ajman, Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
According to Thumbay Group UAE founder Thumbay Moideen, the brand intends to develop new hospitals in India and Qatar.
