US-based Frederick Memorial Hospital has selected Tableau and FTI Catalyst to implement healthcare analytics in the hospital.
The new solutions from Tableau and partner FTI Catalyst will allow the hospital to quickly and easily blend, analyse and visualise data from multiple systems.

Frederick Memorial Hospital decision support director Mary Cague said: "In our tightly-regulated industry, getting good data is critical to improving patient care and to making sound business decisions.
"One of our goals with Tableau and FTI is to be able to answer these questions in the course of a single meeting, taking just minutes. This will help improve our efficiency, productivity and speed of decision-making at a lower total cost of ownership."
Located in Frederick, Maryland, the 300-bed community hospital will use the Tableau platform to analyse data from different sources such as admissions and discharge rates, surgical outcomes, emergency services and management.
FTI Catalyst will help the facility in data modelling and management.
