
NorthStar Anesthesia has announced a partnership with Tampa General Hospital (TGH) North for providing anaesthesia services at three of its facilities in Florida, US .
This collaboration is set to optimise patient care and broaden service offerings, encompassing a new cardiac programme.
NorthStar Anesthesia’s partnership with TGH North encompasses the Florida Endoscopy and Surgery Center, TGH Spring Hill Hospital, and TGH Brooksville.
NorthStar Anesthesia CEO Adam Speigel said: “As one of the fastest growing states in the nation, NorthStar’s presence in Florida is reflective of our broader strategic vision of partnering with leading healthcare facilities in markets with significant patient demand.

By GlobalDataIn a notable shift, all TGH North’s anaesthesiologists have transitioned from 1099 contractors to full-time employees, aligning with NorthStar’s commitment to address staffing challenges, enhance transparency, and ensure predictability in its operations.
TGH Brooksville and TGH Spring Hill hospital president and senior vice-president Robert Ginn Jr said: “TGH North is excited to formally begin our partnership with NorthStar Anesthesia, which will support TGH’s positive impact on public health and patient outcomes in our community.
“Our patients are our number one priority, and this partnership will advance the quality care our system is known for delivering.”
TGH North administrators, with the transition of anaesthesiology services to NorthStar, are now able to reallocate resources towards the expansion and enhancement of other care services.
The partnership is anticipated to facilitate the growth of TGH North’s facilities, enabling the treatment of a larger patient population and more complex cases.
The partnership announcement comes on the heels of NorthStar Anesthesia’s recent partnership with UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook Hospital, signalling further expansion into the US healthcare market.
