OneOncology and New York Oncology and Hematology (NYOH) have partnered to improve cancer care services in Albany, US.

The collaboration, set to begin in July 2025, will enable NYOH to leverage OneOncology’s extensive platform while maintaining its independence.

OneOncology CEO Jeff Patton said: “The physicians at New York Oncology and Hematology are the most trusted names in cancer care in the Albany region, and we are thrilled to welcome them to the OneOncology platform.

“We look forward to working with our new partners to help their practice grow, add services along the continuum of care to their clinics, and continue bringing world-class cancer care to the communities they serve.”

NYOH works with 35 physicians across seven clinics in Albany, Amsterdam, Clifton Park, Hudson, and Troy.

The practice provides comprehensive cancer care services, encompassing radiation oncology, infusion, surgery, and advanced medical imaging.

With the partnership, NYOH aims to improve the quality of patient-centred care through access to clinical insights, advanced technology, and collaborative research opportunities.

NYOH president Todd Doyle said: “We’re thrilled to join other leading independent oncology practices on the OneOncology platform.

“We’ve provided high-quality and compassionate cancer care in and around Albany for more than 30 years, and our OneOncology partnership will bring us capital, expertise, and proven solutions to grow our practice and continue meeting the needs of our patients and their families.”

Marking the 27th practice nationally to join OneOncology, NYOH has a team of 350 oncology-certified professionals and accommodates more than 100,000 cancer visits annually.

The practice is also said to host the region’s most extensive community oncology clinical research and drug trial operation, including exclusive oncology programmes, such as stem cell transplant and CAR-T cell therapy.

Earlier in the month, OneOncology expanded its reach by finalising a partnership with Beacon Clinic, aiming to enhance cancer care services in Idaho.
