California-based Oroville Hospital has extended its alliance with CliniComp, a provider of electronic health record (EHR) solutions, to improve care across various clinical areas.

The expanded collaboration includes critical care and high acuity medical/surgical units, in addition to the existing perinatal areas.

CliniComp’s EHR system offers a scalable solution to enhance data presentation, optimise workflows, and facilitate coordinated care.

Oroville Hospital chief information officer Denise L LeFevre said: “We have seen great success using CliniComp’s reliable foetal surveillance solution.

“When it came time to implement additional EHR solutions that would improve our continuum of care, we knew CliniComp would provide us with the best solution for both staff and patients.

“In addition to being able to implement quickly and cost-effectively, CliniComp’s medical device integration capabilities will provide a seamless workflow that will enable our clinicians to focus more of their time on patient care.”

By implementing CliniComp’s medical device integration capabilities, Oroville Hospital aims to streamline workflows and enable clinicians to focus more on patient care.

The interoperability of the CliniComp system allows for the integration of data from disparate systems, providing a comprehensive view of patients and populations.

Real-time analytics derived from this integrated data can inform clinical decision support, enhance the quality of care, and enable benchmarking.

CliniComp client services senior vice-president Sandra Johnson said: “CliniComp looks forward to growing our partnership with Oroville Hospital. Our solution is designed to optimise clinicians’ workflows through automation and presentation of real-time data across disparate systems.

“This makes clinical decision-making more efficient, relieving clinicians of redundant, manual tasks.  The underlying foundation of our modern architecture enables us to develop and implement complex solutions that are scalable to meet the ever-changing needs of Oroville Hospital’s staff and patients.”
