
PE GI Solutions and Emerson Hospital have entered into a strategic collaboration to open Emerson Endoscopy & Digestive Health Center in Massachusetts.
Located at 310 Baker Avenue, Concord, the new facility is equipped with the latest equipment and will provide patient-centred care as well as necessary procedures in a comfortable setting.
Emerson Endoscopy & Digestive Health Center, which is now accepting patients, is claimed to be the region’s only hospital-owned outpatient endoscopy centre.
The Joint Commission has officially recognised the new centre as an accredited centre.
According to a statement, Emerson Endoscopy & Digestive Health Center has secured Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission for Ambulatory Surgery Center Accreditation.
The facility complements the hospital-based endoscopy unit of the Emerson Hospital.

The PE Center Solutions platform provided many opportunities for health systems, GI physicians, and hospitals to construct, develop, and optimise new or current GI-specific ambulatory surgery centre (ASC).
Emerson Endoscopy & Digestive Health Center co-medical director and Emerson Hospital Endoscopy medical director Dr John Dowd said: “We focused on leveraging the strategic partnership to create a safe and efficient experience for all patients, which is our top priority.
“Partnering with PE GI Solutions has allowed us to tap into their extensive expertise in the GI ASC community.”
Emerson Hospital is a multi-site health system with outpatient medical centres in Groton, Sudbury, and Westford. It also has a 179-bed hospital, and urgent care centres in Hudson and Littleton.
