Pediatric Home Service (PHS) in the US has announced the acquisition of paediatric nursing services provider Craig HomeCare and medical equipment provider Cherub Medical Supply.

The two care providers will join PHS to focus on streamlining care for children with medical complexities.

The new partnership has allowed the Minnesota-based PHS to expand its comprehensive care services to Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. PHS also plans to add more partner organisations and service lines to reach out to children with medical conditions across the US.

PHS CEO Adam Nielsen said: “The PHS paediatric centre of excellence model recognises the value of a comprehensive service offering to optimise care for complex paediatric patients.

“Bringing these organisations together create a unique opportunity to provide patients and their families a coordinated service offering focused on a quality patient experience.”

“We believe every child with medical complexities deserves the best care, and this expansion is a testament to our team’s commitment to bringing more care to more children,” Nielsen added.

Craig HomeCare has three decades of experience in shift nursing and skilled nursing services, while Cherub Medical Supply has been a key provider of respiratory therapy, medical equipment and supplies since 20 years.

Craig HomeCare’s Home Care Nursing president Sean Balke said: “Craig HomeCare has always operated under the belief that kids deserve better, and families deserve a choice.

“We believe in supporting our patients in every way we can, and this partnership will allow us to maximise service and care.”
