Royal Philips has entered into a ten-year strategic partnership agreement with Germany-based Marienhospital Stuttgart to improve patient care and efficiency at the hospital.

Under the terms of the agreement, renewal works and ongoing development of the hospital’s diagnostic imaging equipment and associated IT systems, digitisation of its pathology department will be carried out.

Additionally, the hospital’s emergency medicine capabilities will be improved.

Philips and Marienhospital Stuttgart will integrate all these areas into connected patient care and enhanced efficiency solutions.

After assessing the hospital’s existing treatment structures and pathways, the companies will work to improve the overall quality of its structures, processes and results with a focus on cost savings.

A fully integrated approach will be adopted by deploying Philips’ digital healthcare solutions across multiple departments to enhance the experience of Marienhospital Stuttgart’s patient and staff.
