Prime Healthcare has broken ground on a 33,000m2 specialty hospital at Dubai Healthcare City in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). 

Designed by Stantec, the nine-storey hospital will have a capacity of 150 beds and will provide non-invasive, diagnostic and interventional procedures as well as dedicated rehabilitation.

Three centres of excellence namely the Marie Curie Cancer Centre, Heart Care Center of Excellence and the Lung Care Centre of Excellence will be housed in the hospital.

Apart from specialised diagnosis, care and treatment for complex heart, lung and cancer conditions, the hospital will also offer services in neurosurgery, urology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, spinal surgery, gastroenterology and gynaecology.

Additionally, the facility will have advanced treatment technologies-specialised robotic surgery, hybrid catheterisation labs and hybrid operating rooms.

The Lung Care Center of Excellence would deal with all kinds of diagnosis, management and treatment of respiratory ailments.
