UAE-based healthcare platform PureHealth has acquired 100% of Dubai’s PureCS ahead of its upcoming initial public offering (IPO).

The deal consideration remains undisclosed. PureCS specialises in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI) information systems, and comprehensive IT and digital services.

This acquisition aims to enhance PureHealth’s technological leadership and commitment to a tech-enabled platform in healthcare.

PureCS is known for delivering the UAE’s national digital health project, Riayati, which digitised over 17 million unique electronic medical records.

The company also carried out projects related to data centres, cybersecurity, consumer applications, and complex system integrations.

With a team of over 500 experts, PureCS strengthens PureHealth’s capabilities in data science, AI, ML, digital solutions, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise solutions.

The company recently launched an AI-backed healthcare companion app called Pura, along with a healthcare cloud platform called PureNet.

PureHealth operates more than 25 hospitals and over 100 clinics, as well as diagnostic centres, insurance solutions, and pharmacies, among others contributing to advancements in healthcare in the UAE and globally.

It plans an IPO next month and list its shares on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, subject to regulatory approval.
