RLDatix, a global company in healthcare safety, workforce and data solutions, has announced the acquisition of IPeople Healthcare for data accessibility and continuity.
IPeople Healthcare provides solutions for uninterrupted access to electronic health record (EHR) data for providers.
The solutions also guarantee that healthcare providers have continuous access to essential patient information, allowing staff to deliver informed and safe care, even during system outages.
RLDatix CEO Dan Michelson said: “Reliable access to patient data is an IT necessity and a fundamental pillar of safer, more effective care delivery.
“Our data solutions group combines IPeople’s expertise in data resiliency with our Best-in-KLAS data migration and archiving solutions. Hospitals and health systems can now look to RLD as the single, most experienced company offering the most advanced solutions to ensure data remains accessible and patients stay safe.”
IPeople’s tools uncover data silos, which are essential for ensuring access to health information exchanges (HIEs), analytics platforms, and enterprise archives.
The acquisition strengthens RLDatix’s Galen data migration and archiving offerings, providing health systems and hospitals with a range of data management solutions.
The integration of IPeople’s tools with RLDatix’s existing services will enable healthcare providers to automatically restore and synchronise patient data when systems are online again, thereby eliminating the need for paper-based processes during offline periods.
It also delivers support for customers using the MEDITECH EMR platform.
IPeople CEO Ryan Dickerson said: “Joining forces with RLDatix is a game-changer for our customers and the industry as a whole.
“This partnership not only expands our global reach but also accelerates our ability to deliver even greater value to the 400-plus hospitals we serve. Together, we’re raising the bar for business continuity and data resilience, ensuring healthcare providers always have access to the information they need to save lives.”
This acquisition follows RLDatix’s previous strategic move in September 2024, when it acquired healthcare technology company SocialClimb.
