The Roper St Francis Foundation has launched a fundraising campaign, aiming to raise $100m by 2030 to support innovation, access, and the hospital’s relocation to North Charleston.

E4H Environments for Health Architecture and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) are leading the design, with Barton Malow Builders and Edifice Construction as general contractors.

Despite the new development, Roper St Francis Healthcare is dedicated to maintaining a presence in Charleston’s historic peninsula, where its first hospital was established.

Plans to ensure continued service in the city’s central area are currently under development.
