Bamboo Health, a company specialising in real-time care intelligence, has appointed Ross Armstrong as its new chief commercial officer.
Armstrong will be instrumental in scaling the company’s solutions and delivering improved value to clients and patients across the US.
In his role, he will be responsible for aligning Bamboo Health’s go-to-market strategy, integrating the technology solutions provided by the company, and scaling offerings for its clients.
His focus will be on expanding the company’s platform, with an emphasis on value-based capabilities, post-acute management, and enhancing outcomes for patients in both physical and behavioural health.
Bamboo Health CEO Jeff Smith said: “Ross’ addition to Bamboo Health represents a significant step forward in our commitment to improving physical and behavioural health for everyone.
“His expertise in value-based care, strategic growth, and team alignment will enable us to deepen client relationships, expand our offerings, and advance whole-person care for high-need, high-cost populations.”
Armstrong has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership. His previous positions included roles at Biofourmis, Sound Physicians, and Lumeris.
He led the execution of go-to-market strategies, optimised product offerings, and established partnerships at Biofourmis.
At Sound Physicians, Armstrong was pivotal in developing post-acute solutions, which led to a growth in business contribution from value-based contracts.
During his tenure at Lumeris, his leadership was instrumental in securing long-term client arrangements and advancing population health and care solutions across the US.
Armstrong said: “Healthcare is a complex and fragmented industry, but the opportunity to create meaningful change is unmatched.
“I’m excited to join Bamboo Health and help our clients and the communities they serve benefit from a more connected, integrated healthcare ecosystem. Together, we can drive significant improvements in clinical and financial outcomes.”
Armstrong has completed a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Rhodes College and a Master of Health Services Administration and MBA from the University of Alabama Birmingham.
