Russellville Hospital has become the first facility in the US to install and begin scanning with United Imaging’s uCT(R) ATLAS Computed Tomography (CT) scanner.

Installed at the 49-bed acute care Russellville Hospital, the 4cm detector version of the uCT(R) ATLAS is cleared by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The scanner offers advanced imaging capabilities, accommodating patients of all body types and providing high-quality images with the lowest possible dose.

Russellville Hospital Imaging director Jonathan Proctor said: “The uCT ATLAS allows us to take excellent care of our patients, provide excellent images for our physicians, and it is one that is user-friendly for our entire Imaging staff.”

The installation demonstrates Russellville Hospital’s commitment to expanding care in its community, and United Imaging emphasises its mission of equal access to high-quality healthcare across different regions.

The uCT ATLAS scanner features an 82cm bore, a 700 lbs table weight capacity and an integrated uAI Vision 3D camera for an AI-empowered workflow.
