St Charles County Ambulance District (SCCAD), Missouri’s ambulance service, has begun using Elite Electronic Patient Care Reporting (ePCR) and Billing Bridge software from ImageTrend.
The move is part of SCCAD’s plan to enhance its service delivery and district operations.
The ambulance service said it selected the ImageTrend software due to the need for a system that offers configurability, robust validation rules and offline functionality.
ImageTrend’s Elite for EMS is intended to simplify ePCR with tools for documenting, managing and analysing patient data.
Billing Bridge is designed to connect with electronic patient care reports and begins the billing process as data is collected, with the aim of ensuring faster billing cycles with more timely payments.
In a press statement, ImageTrend said that its solutions offer ‘configurability, robust validation rules, offline functionality, back-end reporting and the ability to run clinical reports’.
