Multi-speciality ambulatory network United Medical has extended its existing two-decade-long partnership with Oracle Health by a further seven years.
This network, which unites over 225 healthcare providers, will now implement Oracle Health’s electronic health record (EHR) system at more outpatient surgery centres as well as accountable care organisations.
The aim is to enhance efficiency and integration and reduce administrative tasks for caregivers.
United Medical CEO and president Kemal Erkan said: “Our relationship with Oracle Health has allowed us to innovate and scale to new capabilities as demand for outpatient care is continuing to grow.
“This new strategic alignment will help create an easier path toward future growth opportunities as we ensure our practitioners have the latest and greatest technology to help improve their financial outcomes while remaining focused on top-tier patient care.”
The EHR system will streamline workflows and provide a unified platform for financial, IT, consulting, and support services, resulting in more coordinated and informed patient care.
