Scheduled to open on 29 January, the relocated facility positions the facility on a well-trafficked road near Market Square Drive & Route 14, just northwest of McDonald’s.

This move aims to provide Streetsboro and the surrounding communities with more convenient access to healthcare services.

The new facility as well as all the other UH Urgent Care locations will operate from 8am to 8pm throughout the week, with modified hours on certain holidays.

UH chief operating officer Paul Hinchey said: “Having easy access to urgent care locations provides a more affordable option than emergency departments for patients who don’t have a primary care physician but need immediate, non-life-threatening medical attention.

“By offering more urgent care locations, we can relieve the burden on emergency departments and reduce wait times so our emergency medicine teams can focus on critical cases.”

All the UH Urgent Care facilities are part of a collaborative effort with WellStreet Urgent Care.

Besides, the expansion will bring a significant number of healthcare jobs to the region.
