Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in the US has opened a new paediatrics outpatient practice at 8687 Carling Road in Liverpool, New York, relocating its Upstate Paediatrics operations from Baldwinsville.
The new facility, located near the Wegman’s Great Northern store, more than doubles the space of the former practice site, expanding from 5,600ft² and 12 exam rooms to 12,133ft² and 20 exam rooms.
It also includes a dedicated room to monitor behavioural health concerns.
In addition to the paediatrics practice, the site houses a physical medicine and rehabilitation (PMR) centre, which was established at the location in May 2024.
The building also consolidates several Upstate services, including the Patient Blood Draw Service Centre, into a single facility.
The expanded facility includes a child-friendly waiting area, a colour-coded wayfinding system, and murals in each exam room.
