US Acute Care Solutions (USACS), an emergency and inpatient medicine practice, has started delivering emergency medicine services at four HonorHealth facilities in Arizona, US, as part of a partnership.

This collaboration represents approximately 93,000 new patient encounters every year.

The facilities involved in this partnership, as of 1 February 2025, are HonorHealth Mountain Vista Medical Center, HonorHealth Tempe Medical Center, HonorHealth Florence Medical Center, and HonorHealth Mesa Emergency Center.

The partnership between USACS and HonorHealth is grounded in a mutual commitment to patient-centric care and innovation.

USACS CEO Chris Hummer said: “This is a tremendous opportunity for our group, and we are excited to work alongside the talented teams at HonorHealth to advance patient safety, experience, and clinical excellence.”

Known for its integrated acute care services, including hospitalist, emergency medicine, and critical care services, USACS caters to approximately ten million patients annually across more than 400 programmes.

USACS West Division president Britney Anderson said: “I am confident we will seamlessly integrate into each of these HonorHealth sites, welcoming those physicians and APPs who join our practice to provide high-quality services to the East Valley and Florence regions.”

With a network that encompasses nine acute-care hospitals, a medical group, a cancer care network, clinical research, outpatient surgery centres, medical education, a foundation, an accountable care organisation, and community services, HonorHealth is set to expand its services.

The health system, serving greater Phoenix and Scottsdale, is also preparing to announce a clinical partnership with ASU and take over the operational control of these facilities.

HonorHealth executive vice-president, chief physician executive and network strategy officer John Neil said: “This is an exciting time for HonorHealth as we expand our services, assume operational control of these facilities, and launch our clinical affiliation with ASU. We look forward to this new partnership with USACS as an important milestone in our journey to elevate care in these communities.”
