Vantage Foundation, an independent charitable organisation, has partnered with National Burn Hospital Le Huu Trac in Hanoi, Vietnam, to extend support and financial assistance to patients suffering from severe burn injuries.
This collaboration aims to alleviate the burden on individuals and families affected by the increasing incidents of mass burn injuries in the region.
The Vantage Foundation’s initiative comes at a critical time as National Burn Hospital Le Huu Trac plays an essential role in catering rehabilitation, urgent care, and ongoing medical support to burn victims.
These patients often face extended recovery periods, during which their families struggle with mounting medical costs and emotional distress.
They have received financial aid along with emotional support and words of encouragement from Vantage Foundation’s team.
This gesture is part of a larger effort to provide support to vulnerable individuals across various age groups.
Vantage Foundation executive director Steven Xie said: “Meeting these patients and witnessing their resilience was incredibly moving. At Vantage Foundation, we believe in making a tangible difference in the communities we serve, and we hope our small gesture provides some comfort and relief to those undergoing treatment.”
The head of the hospital’s administration department, Ms Duong, facilitated the visit.
Duong said: “Many of our patients face severe conditions and financial hardship, especially those from ethnic communities. Support from benefactors like Vantage Foundation is vital in helping them overcome these challenges. On behalf of the hospital, I sincerely thank Vantage for their generosity and hope for continued support for those in need.”
The hospital’s focus spans education, healthcare, and social welfare, working in tandem with non-governmental organisations, hospitals, and local communities to foster positive and enduring change.
