Multi-speciality healthcare provider Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru, in a collaboration with a health technology startup LifeSigns, has launched a 5G ambulance to transform emergency medical services in rural India. 

Claimed to be first-of-its-kind intelligent ambulance, this life saving vehicle is 5G connected and equipped with latest technology and comprehensive medical facilities.

With the deployment of LifeSign’s artificial intelligence-powered remote patient monitoring technology, the ambulance vehicle will be able to monitor critical care patients in transit and can even convert into a smart clinic when required at remote rural locations of India.

This technology monitors patients and streams round-the-clock patient data to physicians and healthcare professionals irrespective of whether the patient is at home, in the ambulance or at the hospital.

The deployment of the vehicle with monitoring solution will cater to the villages near to Mysuru city.

The 5G emergency ambulances will be located at villages and link them to the central hub at Apollo BGS Hospitals in Mysuru.
