DocGo has announced the acquisition of virtual care platform SteadyMD, to enhance its telehealth services throughout the US.
SteadyMD provides telehealth solutions for healthcare innovators, employers, pharmacies, laboratories, and digital health companies.
The platform provides clinical operations and latest technology alongside a virtual clinician workforce that spans all 50 states, enabling real-time matching of patient needs with clinical expertise.
With a roster of over 600 clinicians, SteadyMD aims to serve more than three million patients in 2025.
SteadyMD's extensive network of virtual providers will allow DocGo to enhance the efficiency of patient care by connecting its mobile health clinicians with the platform's clinical network.
DocGo CEO Lee Bienstock said: “This acquisition marks an exciting milestone in DocGo's mission to make high-quality, technology-powered healthcare more accessible. SteadyMD has an impressive reputation and has built a proprietary platform that optimises the delivery of trusted, scalable virtual care services across all 50 states.
“By combining SteadyMD's nationwide virtual care platform with our mobile health services and infrastructure, we can provide our enviable roster of customers with an even more comprehensive platform of last mile care, and help realise our goal of providing patients with healthcare at any address.
DocGo plans to revise its revenue and adjusted EBITDA guidance for 2025 to incorporate the transaction during its upcoming earnings release in early November.
SteadyMD CEO and co-founder Guy Friedman said: “Joining forces with DocGo provides us with the resources to extend our vision of providing a more personalised, patient-centred approach to virtual care at an even larger scale.”
