Enwan Developments has appointed Canadian healthcare operator Blue Ridge to operate and manage Horizon Hospital, situated within the Medical City in Egypt's New Administrative Capital, reported Daily News Egypt.

This partnership aims to provide comprehensive healthcare services in the region.

Enwan CEO Mohamed Salem announced that the partnership represents a significant milestone in the Medical City project, which seeks to establish the new capital as a centre for medical tourism and healthcare.

The Blue Ridge agreement is in line with the company's strategy to enhance standards of care and its international expertise within the project.

Horizon Hospital consists of two basements and two buildings with a total constructed area of 20,000m².

The first building occupies 5,500m² and houses specialised departments, including inpatient rooms, emergency care, and surgical facilities.

Covering 9,500m², the second building accommodates nearly 150 outpatient clinics, medical centres, and associated commercial services.

Salem confirmed that Enwan is engaged in administrative, residential, and commercial projects in both New Cairo and the New Administrative Capital.

Blue Ridge chairperson Sam Samir described the New Administrative Capital as a promising environment for medical investment.

With experience in managing hospitals and medical centres across Canada, Blue Ridge is pursuing expansion opportunities. This partnership signifies the company's confidence in Egypt's healthcare market.

Horizon Hospital marks a significant advancement in raising the standards of medical care in Egypt.
