Fasten Health has announced a partnership for integrating its medical-record API [application protocol interface], Fasten Connect, into Tulio Health Technologies’ CareCapture patient engagement platform.
The collaboration is aimed at advancing patient-controlled medical record access.
Fasten Health’s API enables access to claims and clinical data securely from over 50,000 healthcare organisations in the US, spanning all major electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
This integration streamlines the process, eliminating the need for patients to use multiple portals or rely on manual record transfers.
The partnership will enable patients and their caregivers to securely decide which medical information to share, when to share it, and with whom, using patient-authorised connections.
It also enables CareCapture to function as an EHR-agnostic platform, allowing patients to understand, share, and view their healthcare history, regardless of provider.
This initiative supports Tulio Health Technologies’ ongoing efforts to address fragmented care, assist caregivers, and provide a privacy-focused Engagement Intelligence Platform for accountable care organisations (ACOs), health systems, patients, and senior-care providers across the country.
