Impilo has announced a partnership to support Current Health for advancing the latter’s capacity to serve patients and healthcare organisations by providing improved visibility and speed throughout its supply chain across the US.
Through this partnership, Current Health will utilise the logistics platform of Impilo and real-time supply chain visibility to monitor and manage the transportation of equipment, supplies, and devices to and from patients' homes.
This is aimed at ensuring that patients receive essential supplies promptly.
Impilo founder and CEO Josh Stein said: “Healthcare at home depends on the reliable and timely delivery of medical device kits. Our platform and offering were built to bring transparency and efficiency to the supply chain, and we are thrilled to partner with Current Health to support their mission of enabling safe, effective and scalable complex care at home.”
For over a decade, Current Health has collaborated with healthcare organisations to develop and scale care-at-home programmes.
These programmes enhance inpatient capacity, improve patient outcomes, and facilitate the transition of complex inpatient care to community and home environments.
The company provides remote services and technology for outpatient and community delivery of cell and gene therapies, bispecific immunotherapies, chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapies, and other treatments.
Current Health CEO and co-founder Chris McGhee said: “Breakthrough therapies and the most advanced care can only deliver on their promise if our healthcare system can deliver them reliably and at scale.
“With Impilo, we're enhancing our ability to give our customers the end-to-end infrastructure to deliver complex care and advanced treatments where patients need them most."
With Impilo's operational infrastructure, healthcare organisations can develop and expand connected care programmes.
